Starting with a WAMP (windows, apache, mysql, php) (soon to be LAMP), he met C++, perl and recently ROOT. In the near future he plans to switch to Linux and to do some analysis of hybrid and eventually module data. In the MySQL-database he stores the logfiles (really the logfiles, not an excerpt) of the gantry, the teststation, the FHIT. We hope, that this will help in debugging and optimizing the process of testing hybrids. You can have a look at the source code on CMSTOBSS. So, if there is some information on the hybrids, that you couldn't find in the TrackerDB, you can first try here. (there you can download the logfiles for a certain hybrid (barcode)). Or you can ask him directly: bernd.reinhold%40cern.ch. He has written a GUI in Visual Basic, that picks up pulltest-data from the serial port, and displays it on the screen. It allows you to add comments and other crucial and/or useful information. An analysis is performed online (from certain criterias a flag is calculated, and if the bonds fail the user is notified) and eventually the data is store into a (local) mySQL-database. The pulltester is a DAGE 2400A. For further information and download see CMSTOBSS.
